Chaos rains

Heavy rain after the hottest day of the year - up to 34C in Moscow - produced this colourful congestion at the gates on the new Moscow-St Petersburg Toll Express Motorway (to give it its full name).  About 100km of the planned 700km has so far been opened with the full road due to be completed in 2018.
