Very Old.

This French grammar book is very old.  It belonged to my grandfather (paternal).

He bought it, as he was going on a day trip to France, many, many years ago, before the Channel Tunnel.

I don't know how much French he thought he was going to learn.  He would've been better off with a phrase book.

I just wish I had looked at it better when I was younger, as it is a very good book.  But I don't think I'll ever understand grammar, either French of English.
