arrived at calliere st hilaire
10 hour drive
not so bad as i feared. turns out once you get past la rue periphique and beyond paris, there's pretty much nothing on the road.

our cottage is stunning. this is the view from our balcony - 3 acres, 2 lakes, lovely mature gardens, the patio and outdoor eating area and our very own pool. we shall have lily swimming unaided by the end of this holiday :)

we just had time to squeeze in a dip in the pool before it got dark
now to relax.
