Hello and goodnight.

We picked the gals up from the Eurostar in the evening. It was so good to see their little faces although they were horrified to see mine; two or more weeks of not getting round to shaving seem to have produced a big grey beard.
Once they'd calmed down we let them choose what they'd like to eat. They chose Chinese and Clare found an amazing one near Spitalfields. Among the fare on offer were deep fried pigs intestines and squirrel fish which we declined this time.
It all got a bit much for poor Elsa though and she fell asleep.
Oh and they had an absolutely brilliant time and kind of wished they were still away.
