Ficus Carica

Ripe fruit from the fig tree.
Today i picked three ripe figs from the tree - here is the one not yet eaten. The fig tree was planted by the previous owner of the field, about six years ago, on the advice of a permaculturist. We inherited it and this is the first year that the fruit has ripened.

The extra is a blip of the tree taken a few weeks ago.
