Wenlock at Glasgow Central Station

This is the mascot of the London 2012 Olympics; he is called Wenlock. This is a passing historic nod to William Penny-Brookes (1809 - 1895) who established the forerunner of the modern Olympic Games in the Shropshire market town of Much Wenlock.
