"Phoenix" - W Allchin traction engine

This is a fully functioning model at scale 5ins/ft, i e 5/12ths size, moreover the only traction engine known to have been built at this scale.

The object of this photo was to make the Phoenix look full-size....  or for that matter at whatever scale you like.
