It's raining ducks!

...or "It's raining, ducks!" Blessed rain....not enough to put out a monstrous fire that is now 8,200 acres, but enough to let the firefighters complete a western edge. Unfortunately, the lightning strikes accompanying this storm started 2 new fires and burned another 2 homes, but they were dealt with promptly. Most everyone moved back into their houses. Pictures flooding in on Facebook of houses lost and houses saved. If they burned, they were reduced to ashes and cement chunks....amazingly hot fire. Forecast is for more rain....we are walking in the rain by the river and saying our thanks that the Roaring Lion has been pushed back into its cage.
