Traveling Grandparents

It's hard to explain to a two year old that he won't see his grandparents for six weeks. We're starting to talk about countries but I seriously doubt he understands it, let alone the distance involved.

He's very confused that Nana and Grandad are from England but Nana and Poppa are going there. How could they possibly go to England when they're from New Zealand?!

So this was the solution I came up with to explain where the grandparents are. Tomorrow Nana and Poppa head off and next week Nana S and Grandad go too.

Elliott has had a doozy of a day. No naps at all. The odd nod-off but nothing that resulted in a bed transfer and free time for me. He better sleep well tonight!
