Silhouetted Firs

Our house faces almost due north and we watch as the sun moves further north, from behind a hill to the west, and out over the prairie as the Summer Solstice arrives. Although it's only been about 45 days since the solstice, you can see in this photo the sun has moved south and is nearly setting behind this westerly hill.

Fun day out and about on High Prairie with Bluheron and Kendallishere . We explored the community garden, picking string beans, pulling carrots, cutting lettuce and collecting herbs.
