Not what was intended!
I went out this afternoon in search of a combine harvester at work but drew a blank. All the rape seed has been harvested and the fields have already been cultivated and the wheat, oats and barley are all still standing, still ripening and await the harvester. I ended up at the Gravel pits as there was bound to be lots of interest there. I was surprised that there were still a few lilies blooming but the trees and shrubbery around the backwater had dropped lots of bits so the few blooms that were there were marked and “polluted”. There were dragonflies, darters and Speckled Wood butterflies and lots of vegetation. In the end I’ve chosen a thistle head for my blip today
