Champers Explosion!!

For a couple of years now, I have been enjoying the delights of creating my own "Home Brew".

Elder flower Champagne, Rhubarb Wine and Blackberry Wine, have all been made and thoroughly enjoyed.

So another brewing year beckons and the first lot of elder flower champers was opened..Unfortunately it exploded somewhat!! I had bottled it somewhat too early in the fermentation process and after finding that one of the bottles had exploded in the garage, I decided for "Safety's Sake" that i had better get rid of the rest of the bottles just in case some flying glass caused an injury to someone!!

The bottles were  opened in the garden with the youngest trying to capture what was left of the contents so at least I could enjoy some of it!!

Here's hoping that the Rhubarb wine fairs better!!
