Everything's buzzing!

Last time we were in France, we cleared out an old flower bed and planted (yet more!) lavender. We thought it would take a while for the flowers to come out and for the bees and butterflies to find it. But no. Arrived today and the whole place is absolutely buzzing. The neighbours' bees won't have far to go to reach their quota this year!
