A new rose

This year the ground cover roses next to our patio have sadly faded away and need to be replaced.  I've found some that I like online: David Austin roses that I'll order as bare root plants to be delivered in November.  I couldn't resist this  one in the garden centre today though.  it was a very good price, very pretty and is called Forever Friends.  Let's hope it survives!

In other news:  the warm sunny weather has returned and I've enjoyed just sitting in the garden reading my book holiday style - fanatastic!
