Miss Pickering

D and I went across to Towcester for a lunch to celebrate my cousin's golden wedding anniversary; it was a lovely occasion and an excellent lunch, but sadly his wife was not present at her own celebration due to having had a fairly major operation a few days ago and hence still being detained in hospital. She was very determined that we should go ahead with the lunch anyway! The close family left later on to go and visit her (with cake!) at the hospital in Leicester.

We went back to Sibford for a very good supper with the addition of Sonja  for the evening. Miss P posed briefly for the camera; the slightly odd placing of her legs is due to the fact that she only has three of them!
