Cape Solander in the Kamay Botany Bay National Park, named after Dr. Daniel Solander (1733-1782) the Swedish naturalist who accompanied Dr. Joseph Banks on James Cook's first voyage to the Pacific, landing in Botany Bay 28th April 1770
