Dandelion at Dawn

Up early (4am) as the body clock thinks it's 1pm (jetlag!). I went out hoping to catch a colourful sunrise and waited patiently in our local park. There was one moment when I really thought the sun would manage to peep out through its heavy grey cloud curtains - but no.

Walking back over the grass, I grabbed this blip of a dandelion seed head. The closer you get, the more intricate they seem.
