Look a little closer!

3,500km by plane, then 1,300km by car and now an 8 hour boat trip out to the Montebello Islands! I suppose it's kind of funny for someone who lives in the "middle of nowhere" to go to such extremes to find somewhere remote for a fishing trip with some mates!

On the boat trip out to the islands we passed a whale, then another, then another and another, you get the idea, bloody heaps of em!

This one was slapping its tail on the water, not sure why. It looked nice against the sunset.

I've been slack with my posting here since the floods back in March. I've been busy with work, travelling, family and I'm studying in my spare time. I've got much to catch up on and I'll do my best!
