2016 Saturday -- Port San Luis Lighthouse

We went to the lighthouse today with our friends Jim & Marilyn, who live in Seattle.

Three years ago we had visited the lighthouse, and possibly the tidbit of news I learned today that I don't remember from last time is that way back when there were lighthouse keeper jobs in the late 1800s, the federal government employed women as well as men, and that there were more women keepers on the West Coast than on the East Coast.

Overall, we all enjoyed the tour and the info we learned while walking thru the building and grounds.
