Goodbye To All That

Well it's goodbye for now, decoratathon completed. Next are the kitchen, utility and cloakroom, but they can wait for another day!

Dining room was completely painted today - it seemed to be a lot easier than the lounge (it is smaller anyway). All furniture dismantled and removed and carpet cut back from skirting .Walls washed and curtains removed.Then ceiling and wall emulsioned - one coat only needed - and then skirting, radiator and door glossed.

Started at 9 a.m. and finished with everything back in the room by 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday was always going to be a 'contingency day', so I now have Monday spare as well. Just a bit of recabling to do and a few fittings to rehang. Sunday was planned for a day off anyway.
