Skate Skiing

The Boss (from Tussock Tales), Piano Lady and her husband and I, headed for a day at the Snow Farm.  I walked straight down to Meadow Hut for lunch, while they went cross country, and having all sorts of exciting adventures.  We all met up at the hut and had our lunch together sitting outside in the lovely sunshine.

As usual it was a long up hill walk back to the Base Building, where a nice hot chocolate/wine awaited us.  As you can see it was another beautiful sunny day.  This skier is coming up the hill on the River Run Track.

The extra is the poles and track near the base building.  I like the shadows and the snow sitting on top of the poles.
