Putting the board in boardwalk

While trying to take a few shots to capture the spirit of the boardwalk it occurred to me the character of the boardwalk comes from the boards!

Sometimes the simplest most obvious things feel like the greatest revelations.

So by making the boards take up half the image and putting the plane of focus through the boards I made the boards the focus of the image.

To me it really helped to capture the spirit of a seaside boardwalk... Of course the tourists, the gift shops and the seagull flying up the middle also helped :-)
