The Traveling circus Departs

Tim and Joni are renting a caravan and taking the kids on a camping trip. Two kids, bins full of food, toys, bedding and games and a rack of bikes seemed like enough of a challenge for them, so Olive is here at our doggy resort for a week. We have been warned that she snaps at other dogs….

Last night our neighbors brought their giant Newfoundland, Banjo and their large Bassett Hound, Hank and three bones. Bones dispensed, the dogs all milled around trying to figure out where to settle down. In the end, all three of them were at our feet as we sat out on the porch having drinks and listening to the sound of intense gnawing…

Jim and the boys are  in Colorado for a few days and Dana elected to stay at home. She is coming over for dinner tonight and debating whether to bring her dogs. It is promising to be a doggy week around here….better than rats.
