The Nun and the Piper

So the fringe officially started today and the fringe events teams were out coordinating acts on the streets which provides even more interesting possibilities for a Blip.

Do I post the cute and very lithe young lady with her ankles behind her head or spinning five hula-hoops on top of a seven foot platform on one leg? Or maybe one of the pretty little nymphs from Shakespeare's Tempest, in their colourful cat suits? Maybe the guy with a severed head on a silver platter would make a good Blip? What about the Canadian fire juggler lying posed on the ground or the lady in black with a skull, grenade and machine gun in her headdress reminiscent of Carmen Miranda's fruit headdress?

The chances are all of these sight will be around for the next few weeks. Something I might not see again was the nun and the piper "jiving" together. The nun was one of a group who were dancing along to some rock/jive music (presumably as part of a show promotion), the piper was (I assume) a "busker" passing by and decided to dance with one of the nuns, the two moved pretty well together :-)
