Shell beach
I love this little beach in Tarbert, always good for photos as it is made of scallop shells which stack themselves on end to make the beach. They are colourful and have great texture, I love all the shapes they make. This shot a macro of the shells in the morning sun extra of the patterns the stacked shells make.
The day started early with Teenager eager to open the birthday presents, she is 16 today. After bacon and waffles for breakfast we headed to shell beach in Tarbert for an explore and then a mooch around the shops. Lunch at the Anchor hotel was excellent as was the lunch time gin.
Afternoon spent making birthday cake then watching the Olympic cycling. We have now eaten the cake and it is time to relax. A good family day which is what teenager wanted to do today.
