Pictish or Celtic?
I visited the Pictish and Celtic Festival today.
The juniors begged me to make some foreign dish called 'mince an tatties', apparently mince with onions and mashed potatoes. I tried the mince. It looked dull so I added mixed peppers, garlic, carrots and a courgette. That tasted dull so I added herbs, coriander, tomatoes and sugar. It was still not interesting so I whacked in a major dollop of Mrs Balls. That did it. I dug some tatties out of the garden. They were too good to mash so I boiled them, and made a salad. Now I await the verdict...
