And so it begins....

So, my Festival fun begins......

Finished work early, and headed with D to The Stand to see the preview show for Lucy Porter, then a quick bite to eat in Kebab Mahal, and over to The Pleasance to see Shappi Khorsandi's preview show. Both were great shows - and I would recommend them (Shappi's isnt for those of you who may find a woman talking in detail about her sexual history off putting).

I was reminded last night of one of the few reasons I DONT enjoy the festival.....the bloody fireworks that go off at the castle for the Tattoo every bloody night, and (I seem to remember) twice on a Saturday.

As I was heading home after the shows tonight, guess what I happened upon while walking through the Grassmarket?!
