TAKE OFF....

.... into the sunset....

Well the main Olympics kicked off this morning as we all know, with an outstanding Opening Ceremony.... go the Aussies!!

However, the Alternative Olympic Games (AOG) here has stacked up as a truly competitive event. A late contender in the high jump has been the dove team. 
Normally docile and quiet, they have shown in practice it could be on for young and old in this event. 

Seen here today while everybody else tucked in for the night, out practicing in the sunset (or make out it was!!) 

Earlier in the day found Boris in training for the beach volley ball, except he kept lying on the ball, and was taken straight out of the game and forced to give a blood sample!!!
