Grandchildren

No flowers today, we took the grandchildren to a local dam which had some great play areas so I didn't get any gardening done. This is Ben Chifley Dam named after a local who ended up Prime Minister. It is on the Campbell's River which joins the Fish River and which turns into the Macquarie River. After all the recent rain the Dam is full and overflowing.

The kids are 2,4,5 7 and 8 and they had a great time and didn't get wet. Last week they needed new shoes after a similar adventure when they strayed into the water. I did a bit of exercise chasing them around I must say....

We had black tea and honey sandwiches because we forgot the milk and salmon. As the salmon was already out of the tin we needed to eat it up so had salmon rissoles for dinner. Yum.
