Let The Games Begin!

The Stone Crab was very honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem for the opening ceremonies - He put his heart and soul into the effort.

Today we went to The Low Country Estuarium in Port Royal, SC.  It is a very small aquarium (Actually just the basement of the curator's house) dedicated to the animals in the Estuary.  We saw welchs, crabs, terrapins, and a puffer fish.  (Some included in the extras - the puffer would have been my blip had we not had the Olympics to celebrate!)

We had gone to this estuarium over 14 years ago and was so impressed.  The curator is passionate - the information he presented was unusual.  He fed the animals which made them much more interesting - To see a welch stalk a snail is amazing.
