Anteros

It's not Eros but Anteros, the god of selfless love, which, tbh, I think we could do with a bit more of, you know?

After a day working in my hotel room - which was rather conducive to concentration, actually - punctuated by dashes down to the rather good coffee shop in the foyer, I was ready to get out, this evening. I took the tube up to Leicester Square and then cut west, ending up at the The Glassblower on Glasshouse Street where I met my ex-client and now friend, Michelle, for a couple of glasses of wine and a bite to eat.

I'd always planned to walk back at the end of the evening and I struck south down Air Street, to Regent Street and on to Piccadilly Circus, where loads of people were sat around the base of Anteros, enjoying the balmy August evening. I was almost tempted to hang around but I decided to get back to the hotel and continue reading 'The Girl With All The Gifts', which my brother recommended to me, last night.
