Freedom!

The monsters reared their ugly heads again today.
Talk about hard work!

At the end of the working day SWMBO and I headed off for Rotherham (we have Butterfly's birthday party to attend!).
First of all we got diverted in the middle of nowhere ..... to a dead end!
There are 'moving' roadworks not far from us  for the installing of a windfarm and every few days the diversions get changed about as work progresses.
Whoever laid out the signs this time has a really sick sense of humour.
We ended up having to go miles out of our way and it added a good half hour onto the journey (the M1 being shut and everything having to squeeze onto the hard shoulder added a bit more time) -- but without this we would have missed the fantastic sunset and the rainbows.
I would have loved to stop and take some pictures but it just wasn't possible
