Fishing

We decided to go fishing today, so I made up a yummy picnic, put on my suntan lotion, grabbed my book and sunglasses and off we went! The sun shone all the way there and I was so looking forward to getting my very pale legs out for a tan top up.

As soon as we arrived we knew we'd made a mistake. It was incredibly warm, the place was infested with blue bottles which buzzed very annoyingly round us and to add insult to injury the sun disappeared behind a big black cloud and it started raining!so we came home.

It all sounds petty compared to the horrific fire in our biggest tourist area earlier today. The oldest bowling alley in the UK and many nearby businesses all burnt down. A sad day for our town.
