Habas (green broad beans)

Day 2 on the course and half the trainee teachers taught their first 40 min lesson on the course today and more than survived. I also taught them 40 mins of Hungarian in the afternoon to show them some techniques in teaching absolute beginners and so they could remember what it's like to be an absolute beginner in a foreign language lesson. It's all in Hungarian. I always get nervous, bu love it when it takes off! Lovely to be working with my friend Philippa again this month. We work hard but have fun too.

Our Airbnb guests arrived this afternoon too and they're lovely. We were expecting a Chinese couple so Bb was quite surprised when it turned out it was a mother and son. The son must be early 20s and speaks ok but basic English. His mum not a word. They're very respectful and have settled in well. It's a bit of an experiment to see how this goes having guests in while I'm on a course.

Dinner tonight was habas tonight in Sanabres. Delicious!
