The start

Cheeky run out to Hempstead to the start of Turpin's Ride.
We really start the ride to York tomorrow but wanted to get this bit done because it is in the wrong direction from home.
Last minute rush for new tyres this afternoon when I spotted the carcase showing through a hole in the front tyre - wouldn't fancy that letting go on a fast descent.
I think we are all set for the off.
