WE'RE IN!!!, WE'RE IN!!!

They shouted loudly when they saw me walking towards them.
We're in at last!!
The Himalayan Balsam flowers, or as they are called sometimes the Bobby Tops, were extremely exited, now they had attained their goal to partcipate in the Alternative Olympic Games. And it had happened clearly so sudden too.
And can you guess what discipline we are in? they asked.
Before I could come up with my guess, they did not wait for my answer and they shouted: At shot-putting!.
Obviously we have trained for it many years, and we think we will have an enormous chance of winning. But being in it, is of course wonderful enough.
They suddenly looked anxious;  it had been terrible to be lifted from the ground, put into crates, loaded in a big machine that lifted into the air for their journey.
Some of us were so frightened, they said, that they had almost gave up, but then they had closed their hearts, and hoped for the best.
We are alright now, they confessed, and so happy to watch the opening.
Our race will be at the end of the Games, and that will give our fans time to gather for transportation. They will have a check upon ticks, as they did on us too, because no one is waiting for an invasion of those little beasts.
We hope there are no tick-teams around here. We better ask about it, later.
In the extra you can see a picture of the fans that could come right away with us. Are they not a lovely lot?
I agreed heartily.
Shot-putting for the Balsams, yes I really do think they has a good chance to win.

My contribution for the Flower Friday Challenge, huge thanks to BikerBear for hosting. And thanking dbifulco for this incredible Alternative Olympic Games, now starting day 1, the tag is AOG5.
