A Birthday Surprise!

Just a few minutes ago, the postman knocked on the door and handed me a parcel.  Inside was a surprise birthday gift from two of the very nicest people and Blippers that I know -- Kanga Zu and wall.  I can't believe KangaZu went to all the trouble to hand paint this little begging dachshund to match Mabel's colouring -- as well as her snazzy collar!  So darling, and so amazingly thoughtful.  The birthday card is also very cute -- on the inside, it reads "It's a Pair-a-Dachs!" 

Thank you, dear friends -- you have made the dreaded Big 6-0 Birthday which looms on the horizon oh so much more fun to contemplate!!!  A proper "Thank You" will be in the post soon!
