Trompe d'oeil

Day 14
On a wall in Chamonix, various people related to it's history.
A friend was running the Eiger Ultra and then had a holiday in Chamonix so we arranged to meet up on our final, free day. She had found a short walk to a waterfall (see extra) which didn't have too much climbing and didn't require boots. Not surprisingly there was a café there so we had cheese omelettes and coffee.
In the afternoon we lazed in the games room on the campsite and there was a fairly spectacular thunderstorm but it had cleared by the time we went for a final meal together. We'd been seated outside but had to move in when more very heavy rain came through the awning! Clear again by the time we returned and great light on the mountains (another extra)
