Nearly There!

The finishing touches are being made for tonight's AOG2016 opening ceremony with Ernie the Emperor Dragonfly doing a last minute recce over the pond. He wasn't very happy with the female mallards who looked as if they were topping up their tans but he didn't have the energy to 'go there' right now!

This isn't as sharp as I'd like because I've cropped it, but I'm happy blipping it today. I also saw a Great Green Bush Cricket amongst the reeds which I've put onto Flickr along with a very hairy caterpillar. Back to the library this afternoon for more reading challenge listening. I finished Black Eyed Susans yesterday and thoroughly recommend it if you like a psychological suspense.
