Day 217 of 366 - St Leonard's Parish Church!
Today's image was taken this evening in the Warwickshire Village of Ryton-on-Dunsmore. The view is of the Parish Church of St Leonard. This Grade II* listed Church is one of the oldest in Warwickshire. Part of the church which includes the Nave and Chancel date back to the late 11th Century. The original Church was built on woodland which was given to the Coventry Priory by Lord Leofric the Earl of Mercia and his Wife Lady Godiva in 1043. The Square Tower was a later addition during the 15th Century.
The photo was taken using the app Huemore on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I cropped and Straightened the image and applied the Tonal contrast filter. I decreased the Highlights, then boosted the Contrast, Warmth and Saturation. Next I used the app Painteresque to add a custom version of the Painteresque 2 preset. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Recover Highlights preset, the Vibrant FX and a Medium dark vignette. I then added the Stucco texture and the Leather frame.
