Chirpy Chick

The sound of a chirpy chick entered the office accompanied by a surprised Wildlife Warden at the end of the afternoon. The latest batch of eggs in the incubator should've been all ducks so this one was a surprise!

Hearing the one day old chirping away and seeing the gentle flap of tiny wings as I held this ball of fluff in my hands simply melted my heart.
