The Great Nocturnal Happening

The Great Nocturnal Happening took place in Tampere today. The cross-artistic, carnivalesque event was produced by dozens of parties under the Tampere Theatre Festival’s umbrella. The happening offered a wide range of interesting events. Altogether there were 210 events scattered around the city.

We went to see Alivaltiosihteeri in Suomalainen kirjakauppa, printmaking studio Himmelblau (in the extra picture artist Janne Laine shows how he does his prints), Finlayson Art Area exhibitions, Tampere Chamber playing the famous movie music in Väinö Linna square, art gallery Ronga and string quartet of Tampere symphony orchestra playing Mozart in the Näsinpuisto park.
