on the rocks...

lovely trip to Southend with my nephew and niece today and the weather was pretty perfect! Managed to fit lots in - i'm going to pay for it later i'm sure! - and instead of going in the new lagoon(the size of a football pitch), the children wanted to climb over the rocks the whole way round the outside... so guess who got volunteered to go round with them!  Photo courtesy of my sister in law who blamed her footwear for the reason she couldn't do the rock climb!  It was hard work but good fun and thankfully nobody slipped off!!
