Lyne Viaduct, Lyne Station

A slight breeze kept the temperature down, but it was a nice morning. An extra bike ride down to West Linton and Lyne Station. Lyne Station is on the railway that used to connect Peebles with Broughton and Biggar. I stopped on the road bridge to take a photo of the Lyne Viaduct.

It is hoped that the route of the old railway will form part of a cycle route from Peebles to Biggar, linking up with the one from Peebles to Innerleithen. I hope they make it wider. than that one. Also there will be route from Peebles, along an old railway north to Eddleston, Leadburn, Howgate and the Dalkeith - Penicuik path. Quite a network.
