An uninspiring blip but it does record the largest building in our small village. Apparently, you need to show 2 forms of ID to get permission to book an appointment online, hence the visit today. Danbury, population 6,500, situated on a small hill (big hill for Essex) 367' above sea level, built on the sites of an Iron Age hill fort. Apparently, In 1779, workmen were digging a grave at the church when they discovered a stone slab. In the coffin beneath lay the perfectly preserved body of a man, apparently pickled in a mixture of mushroom ketchup. As you can see, there's not a lot going on in Danbury, but it's home.
