Steamin'

There was a lot of traffic on the Torbay Ring Road today. The hold ups weren't all the fault of this chap.

I dropped Marian off at Phoebe and Paul's this morning and thought by way of a blip I'd head over to Churston and see if there was anything happening at the South Devon Railway. I parked nearby and as I walked towards the station I noticed some steam going up ahead on the Ring Road. This traction engine was stopped by the side of the road while the driver fiddled with valves or something. I was able to take a few pics and then he headed off and I got a couple more. The Torbay Steam Fair starts tomorrow just down the road from here so I imagine this chap is preparing for the show. It was dead handy because there wasn't anything happening at the station at the time and blip in hand I headed back to pick Marian up to do some food shopping on the way home.
