Vallee de Cereceda
We left our campsite at St Marina de Valdeon at 9am so we could get to Potes by 11am to try to find a campsite.
The drive round the south side of the Picos de Europa was absolutely stunning with a wide variety of geological formations. On the way we saw deer and what could have been a wolf but which was probably a large fox.
On the descent to Potes this view is amazing. I particularly liked the recession of the hills in the distance
As you can see it is a bit cloudy today but warm and the promised rain hasn't materialised.
Best of all, we managed to find space in the first campsite we tried. It was one that told us they were full yesterday. It is very convenient being about a mile from Potes and with a fabulous view.
Potes itself is interesting. We went back down there to get some provisions and had a light Raciones lunch in a bar,
