A joy to behold
Not so much the garden being a joy to behold, though that is very nice, no it is a joy to behold a day which started with a clear blue sky, and remained that way for the entire day. There were a few clouds around, but not the sort to cause any inconvenience.
The garden this time is the walled garden of Castle Fraser. It was in great shape and enjoying the weather. On the way in to the property I noticed a rabbit next to the road lazing in the sun and nibbling on the grass. He hardly bothered to move as I went past quite slowly, it must be used to the traffic.
There was also a young couple with a tripod taking lots of photographs in the garden, the young lady appeared to be the photographer, he carried the back pack. All the photos I saw her take were into the sun, so I am not sure how they are going to come out. Judging by the amount of equipment she had I have to presume she knew what she was doing.
No ice cream today, but I did have a cappuccino, also bought a couple of postcards as inspiration for future Blips. Today's picture was chosen to show the blue sky!
On the way back I stopped off at Hazlehead Park and visited the Rose Garden. The roses here seem to have fared better than those at Drum Castle. These also may be past their best but there were many worthy of a Blip. Lots of people in the park enjoying the sunshine.
