Salt Pots....

Had such a lovely evening :)
Some of you may remember that I was one of the volunteer amateur photographers at the Saltaire Arts Trail back in May.  Well as a thank you, the organisers arranged an event for the volunteers.  And this evening we went to Salt Pots in Saltaire.  We each chose a piece of pottery... and we painted it.... whilst laughing, chatting, supping wine and eating nibbles.

I chose a candlestick to paint.. and my design was a peacock (very topical for Harden folk!)... a bit ambitious I think... but my peacock looked better ... the more the evening went on for some reason.

Big sis is in the hood .... along with eldest neice (whose wedding I blipped a couple of years ago.. where I did the Chaka Khan reading??) and her bundle of a cuddlicious baby who I haven't met yet.   Happy days :)))
