That puts me well ahead in the 'spot the celebrity' stakes - Angus Deayton, Richard Wilson and Kirsty Wark, in conversation in the Pleasance.

Busy day for me, a resignation (not mine), a long chat about Christmas, a side trip to a stuffy Leith and a crippling headache.

Then out into the mayhem that is the Edinburgh Fringe to see Nina Conti - so funny , and I met some really nice school students here to perform their show.
